Semiya kesari











Ingredients:
  1. Vermicelli- 1 cup
  2. water- 2 cups
  3. color powder- 1 pinch
  4. Sugar- 1 cup
  5. salt- 1/2 tspn
  6. ghee
  7. cashews
  8. raisins

Method:

  1. Heat the pan with ghee and fry the vermicelli in the pan, till it turns golden brown.
  2. now turn off the stove and keep the vermicelli in a plate and let it cool.
  3. Pour 2 glasses of water in the pan and let it boil. when it boils, add 1 and half glass of sugar and 1/2 tspn of salt.
  4. while stirring it, add a pinch of orange color powder to the water.
  5. Now add the vermicelli and stir it well.
  6. leave it in low flame and close the pan, and check frequently with the vermicelli.
  7. when it boils completely.
  8. pour ghee in a pan and let it heat, and add the raisins and cashews to it and add to the vermicelli, and serve it hot.

Chilli Paneer

Ingredients:

  • paneer (cottage cheese)- 350 gm (chopped into cubes)
  • garlic- 7 cloves (finely chopped)
  • salt
  • onion- 1
  • green pepper- 1
  • soya sauce
  • chilli sauce
  • green chilli- 2
  • corn flour
  • ajinomotto
  • sugar
  • Spring onion

Method:

  1. In a deep frying pan, pour oil and fry the paneer.
  2. when the paneer changes to golden brown color, take it and soak it in a bowl of water.
  3. in the mean time, pour oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic and fry it well, then add the onion and green pepper and saute it well.
  4. now add the soya sauce, chilli sauce and stir it well and now pour 1/2 glass of water and add 1 tspn of corn flour mix and stir it well, till the sauce becomes thick.
  5. add a pinch of sugar and salt to taste to the sauce and add the chopped green chilli.
  6. Now add the soaked paneer to the sauce and stir it well.
  7. before turning off the stove, add a pinch of ajinomotto and garnish with spring onion.

Wheat Pasta













Ingredients:
  • yellow onion- 1 (finely chopped)
  • green pepper- 1(finely chopped)
  • garlic- 6 cloves
  • baby corn - 4 (chopped in round slices)
  • spring onion - 1
  • mushroom- 4 slices (sliced into cubes)
  • chicken- 1 thigh slice (boiled and kept separate)
  • wheat Pasta- 2 cups (boil it in a pressure cooker with 3 to 4 whistles)
  • soya sauce- 1 tspn
  • tomato basil puree- 3 tspn
  • vodka sauce- 1/2 cup
  • Chicken/ vegetable stock- 1 cube
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Method:

  1. Heat the pan and pour 3 tspn of oil and add the onion slices, while frying the onion, now take the garlic cloves. with a shredder, shred the garlic in the oil.
  2. when the garlic and the onions are frying, add the mushroom, baby corn and spring onion and fry it well.
  3. now add the soya sauce, tomato puree and vodka sauce( its a pasta sauce). Now pour 1/2 a glass of water and close the pan and let it boil.
  4. when the sauce boils, add salt to taste and stir it well
  5. now add the boiled chicken to the sauce, and stir it well
  6. Finally, you can add the boiled pasta to the sauce and sprinkle pepper and add the green pepper.
  7. To give a finishing touch, add the vegetable/chicken soup/stock cube to the pasta, to give extra flavor to the dish.
